The Dignified Girl Project was founded in 2017 after its founder encountered an unemployed, single mother. The single mom wept because she was unable to regularly provide her teen daughter’s basic hygiene needs. A heart filled with empathy, our founder knew that she had to make a difference in this mother’s life and the lives of other mothers and daughters with a similar plight. After all, she and her mother knew firsthand what this was like.
